Just....shut up.

Happy= Josh came back from Disneyland! I really missed his not-talking-to-me-except-for-when-I'm-about-to-go-to-bed-and-preventing-me-from-getting-my-work-done-at-a-reasonable-hourness.

Sad= Michael can't go online for awhile. :( Now I'll be really bored...

I am full of spirit, for it is Spirit Week.

"The most terrifying fact about the universe is not that it is hostile but that it is indifferent, but if we can come to terms with this indifference, then our existence as a species can have genuine meaning.... However vast the darkness, we must supply our own light."

Teach me from where. Is this from the backroads of your mind?
Ohhh, the thing I just realized as I salivated... I mean, as I stared at Wayne's photo is that perhaps, perhaps, ONE of the reasons I find him so terrifyingly SEXY is because I know someone who sort of looks like him. Had the most gorgeous MESSY hair on the planet. He HATED to brush his hair. Trust me, I wish I could have kept him for a while to do so myself... or not. LOL.

Hee heeee.
Messy hair can be very fun. ;D
This girl once said that after one of the concerts, she went up to Wayne and asked him if she could touch his hair. He said, "But it's all sweaty and bloody and there's confetti in it." A pause. And then, "Sure!"
She got to touch his hair!!! Grrrr
The quote is from the back of a Flaming Lips christmas card.
Wayne is quite the philosopher

One question... blood that's fake, right? LMFAO. The first musician ever to admit he's bloody.
Messy hair is a fabulous trait in a guy. Too bad alot don't have it. LOLOL.
Yet I like this girl's impulse to touch that particular spot on Wayne's body. I wonder if that would have been my first choice. LOL.

no, let me guess- The guy in your Milk icon is Ralph Fiennes, right? How much do you want to bet I am so wrong?! LMFAO. You have never mentioned Ralph. LOL.
If that's Steve in that photo, I am going to pull my hair.
Oct. 29th, 2003 05:03 am (UTC)
Have so
I made it a while ago, and even Steve could not be that pretty.
'Tis Ralph.
Want to see an incredibly adorable [Wayne] picture?
Of course you do.

The guy whose head he is petting is their current drummer, Kliph.
Oct. 29th, 2003 05:06 am (UTC)
Dude, what's up with this guy and the sexual poses?!?!?!?!
What I would not give to be that floor, that drummer's soul and the thin layer of sweat on Wayne's body.

Steve could not be that pretty? LMFAO. You dared? LOLOL. Hey, Steve can imitate Alan and FOOL me, that's pretty!

Re: OoOoh
Haha, I don't think that that was meant to be sexual. It was in an issue of Rolling Stone from a few months ago (that I had been looking for and finally found under a pile of stuff in my room last week), and there was also a picture of him on the potty! Haaahaaaahaa.

Oh, and I just meant that Ralph is an incredibly beautiful creature (though a different kind). I think of him as being "pretty" (or purdy), whereas Steve and Wayne are sexay!!
Oct. 29th, 2003 05:16 am (UTC)
Re: OoOoh
No- the reason for the double entendre is because I have a dirty mind. Yet this time, I shall put the blame on Wayne, not I.
And of course Ralph is pretty. I don't think I could consider him 'sexy' but... no, only with the voice. There's something stiff about him to be sexy. Sexy is messy, wild and unlikely.
Like Wayne.

Re: OoOoh

Oh my goodness.
I have the "Fight Test" single and the "Waitin' for a Superman" single,
and together there are four music videos.
"Fight Test" has the "Fight Test" music video, and "Waitin' for a Superman" (which I got a week ago) has the "Waitin' for a Superman" video, the "Race for the Prize" video, and the "Be My Head" video.
Even though I have had them all for at least a week now, I cannot stop watching them!

I'm about ready to lick the screen here!!

Did I ever really say what happened at the concert?
Oct. 29th, 2003 05:35 am (UTC)
Re: OoOoh
No, you did not really say what happened and oh, yes, you never even bothered explaining the George Eads/Superman comment. I have been wondering about that for three days now. LOLOL.

Oh my goose, I could just imagine what you are going through. If this guy has me all numb by photos alone, imagine when he's MOVING! LOL.
I would really like to see that.

Re: OoOoh
Wait, which? Oh yeeeaaaah! I was giggling cause it reminded me of Wayne's superman boxers!! I remember that now...

Well, the first exciting thing that happened (keep in mind that I was in the upper section and couldn't see incredibly well), was that I heard some cheering, and when I looked at the stage I saw a very nicely dressed man throwing two giant ballons into the pit! I squealed and pointed and said to my uncle, "LOOK!! WAYNE!!" or something like that. Then, in the middle of the warm up band, I saw Wayne sneak behind the giant pile of ballons on stage, just behind the performers, and he came out on the opposite side of the stage, playing with two of the ballons. Then, while watching the warm up band from the side of the stage, HE STARTED DANCING!! It was soooo cute! During the warm up band's last song, Wayne and the other Lips came on-stage and played with them. Well, kinda. Wayne just had this megaphone that he was holding, and started bouncing up and down! He basically did that through nearly the whole song!! He also did a little tap-dance like thing, and before we knew it, the song was over. Then the Lips started setting up. I will totally shut up now. I must be boring you to DEATH with my over-enthusiasticness. Bleh.

Re: OoOoh
ROXIE-HAM!!! Nooo, you could never bore me!!! These small memories are like kisses, they are lovely. You must always share them, if you wish! Ohhh, now I wish I could see how he was dancing! LOL.
So he's the sort of musician that dresses according to rule to please, right? Not some messy musician who just happened to fall off the bed? Wow, I am really taken by this guy. It's amazing. I had not felt intrigued toward another guy after Enrique and Pavano. You must know how it is. When certain men enter your life, it usually takes awhile before another enters that leaves an impression. Wayne seems to be that man. I am giddy now. LOLOL.

Oh, the Superman boxers. LOLOLOL.

Re: OoOoh
Oh, indeed. And Wayne is quite the showman. (I think part of it is because he feels that he needs to make up for his voice)

"If I was in the audience and I saw this fucking weirdo-looking Tony Bennett-on-drugs type pour blood on his head, I'd think, 'Well, I got something to talk about when I get to work tomorrow', y'know? 'What did you do last night?' 'I watched Cheers for the thousandth time.' 'Well, I saw this drugged-out old man from Oklahoma pour blood over his head while singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow'. I'm not a drug-damaged idiot, but I think, 'You came to see a show, we came to put on a show, let's do it.'"
Oct. 29th, 2003 06:06 am (UTC)
Re: OoOoh
Yet what is the blood made of?
Maraschino cherries?
Awww, are you serious? You think he needs to make up for his voice?
Oh, how cute. LOL. That's why I wrinkled my brows when I first heard his voice. Not because he looks so manly that I expected him to have a deep voice but not that high. LOL. Not that boyish. Does Steve come any closer? How's his voice?
Oct. 29th, 2003 06:15 am (UTC)
Re: OoOoh
He said something that implied that he is somewhat ashamed of his singing voice. Steve has a very lovely voice, in my opinion. (I don't really want to say Steve's voice is better, cause I hate comparing talent, but...it is, though I personally hold them at the same level)
Y'know, you should be able to listen to a clip on his site.
Here's the parent directory for the sounds: http://www.steveswebpage.com/media/mp3/
Download the one that says "SteveBurns_Troposphe..>", cause I think it's the best.

And, oh my god, something amazing happened. My computer is actually letting my screencap these music videos! (It rarely, RARELY does that - it only happens at very random times) The great thing about that is that in the Superman video, you get to see older Wayne in casual clothes! I mean, I think it's awesome that he always wears suits, but the first time I saw him wearing a plain white shirt in this video, my jaw dropped! It's just a bit refreshing for the older Wayne.

I really need to go to bed now.
Love love love.

Re: OoOoh
Wheee. Thanks for a wonderfully splendid night! This was fascinating indeed.
Well, for the record, a man in a suit leaves me in a state of uncontrollable weakness. Yet if you ever show those photos, by all means, let me have a peek. Yum.
And YAYAYAY, I get to hear abit of Steve. Dude, to finally put my curiosity to roast... I mean, rest. Like you do now. Ahh, sweetest of sweet dreams to my loverly friend!
*hugs Roxie-ham and Domo-beast*
Oct. 29th, 2003 05:09 am (UTC)
It just hit... me and I had to ... respond. LOL.
Did you know that the photo screams 'double entendre'

And ah, one for two. I do prefer Ralph over his brother.

No no, I've just been having a rough year. I usually keep up with my friend's list, though! It's just the last couple of weeks that I've missed. I hope you and Tery are doing well!

Thank Merlin, starting to think you died....!

Yeah, most of the people I talked to had a pretty crappy year.
    I hope it's good too!
