Oh gaawd

I'm so distracted in my classes and I can't help it. I swear, I'm going to fail if I can't keep it togethhher.

Best classes: Evolution, Sci-Fi/Fantasy.

Sci-Fi/Fantasy is going to be challenging, but omg fun. It's like someone took out a huge nerd magnet to draw as many nerds as they could into one classroom. Also, the professor asked us all why we signed up for the class, and apparently I'm the only female there who's more interested in sci-fi than fantasy. I didn't know that was so rare. I was amused.
And it's also great to be in a class where, when I mention MST3K, more than two people know what the hell I'm talking about.

Evolution is pure sex, and made even better by the fact that I remember a lot of the basics from my high school anthro class. I can still spell Australopithecines correctly without hesitation, G. Adding to that knowledge will be fun times for everyone. Except, of course, that guy I overheard saying, "that was the most boring lecture I've ever heard".
NEWSFLASH! If pictures and/or discussions of fossils and apes bore you, you might find a class on evolution to be a tad...boring!

That sci-fi/fantasy class sounds awesome! Wish I'd had that. Is it for literature or films or both?

Evolution sounds cool, too (and be thankful that class exists where you are, 'cause other regions of this country don't believe in evolution-schmevolution). I took an anthropology course once, enjoyed it very much. Yay for apes and bones!

It's primarily for literature, but I think we're going to be studying one or two movies as well. It is super awesome.

I am very glad that this class exists. As an anthropology major, I'd probably be screwed if it didn't!
Then again, it's not like it's THAT important to anthropology, right? R-right?

You are so teh sex in your Roxie nerdiness. I took a couple of fun classes like that in college too, a Fantasy Lit class and a film class where we just watched Hitchcock all day. Cuz college shouldn't be all boring learning.

I think the oddest college course I ever took about witchcraft, the occult, and mysticism. My term paper was on the history of werewolves in Europe. And we had such an awesome professor, kind of like a silver-haired, Cuban version of Malcolm McDowell. On the Day of the Dead, he dressed in a black cape, put lit candles around the classroom, and sat on a chair ON TOP of the front desk while he lectured.

No. You shut your dirty little mouth.

When you said you almost failed your english paper cause of porn?
Now I can't concentrate on my classes cause I keep thinking about porn.
And the only way to fix that is by writing the porn out.
But there's so much.

Yeah, I took English 1A last semester, which is why I could take this class now. I think? Maybe. I've seen some pretty cool GE courses around here...
