Nobody knows the extent of my deeds.

I ♥ these people.

I do not ♥ philosophy essays.

By any chance, would you tell me if I asked you -who are these pretty people?
Did you take that shot? I like it.
However, essays suck but philosophy is grand. You probably know this. I do expect you to uncover something spectacular soon.

That's my mom and my little brother. I took it at my grandma's piano recital yesterday, wherein my brother was a guest performer.

*sigh* I'm really not feelin' the whole philosophy thing. I thought before I took the course that I would like it, but no. Ohhh well.

What philosophy are you reading? That makes all the difference in the world, believe me. I'm a philosophical motherfucker, so, I knows these sorts of things.

It's just a general philosophy course. Trying to jam all the main ideas of philosophy into one semester. The textbook we're using is written by a crazy person and it has the creepiest illustrations, but not in a good way. Maybe it's just the way it's been presented to me, but it all seems so trivial.

Are you reading actual essays by real philosophers, or is it just some fool trying to give a general overview?

I'd have thought you'd be the last person put off by creepy illustrations, though, regardless of whether or not the book is poorly put together. They must be pretty goddamn bad. You should scan and post them if at all possible so we can share in your pain.

I KNOW you love to spread the pain.

The book shows excerpts from real essays and then discusses them.

I kind of liked the pictures at first, but I think it's the combination of the drawings and my dislike for the author/illustrator that makes them so creepy. The pictures just fill me with rage and make me want to burn things.

I've become so cynical lately. I never would have criticized a textbook like that before.

Fuck, I have to go finish that essay.

Excerpts are bullshit, man! Maybe you should burn things, or at least, burn your textbook in a fit of rock n' roll inspired rebellion and rage.

*rocks and rolls*
Are there any philosophers you'd recommend? I think I may have the capacity to read OUTSIDE of school now.

Well, John Locke comes to mind. However, he has alot of biblical visions.
I am so going to get spanked for getting involved, ain't I?

Actually, I used Locke in my essay. I do agree with many of his ideas.

No, but...I'll spank you anyways.

Yo... really? She's utterly gorgeous and your little brother is sooo freaking adorable! Like Swanky, I do also feel he reminds me of someone. I thought the same thing when I first saw the photo yet wanted to ask who they were first.

Don't you think philosophy is found, not taught? I think school besides sucking just give you an idea what's out there.

Your little bro reminds me of a younger version of someone. But I can't say who because I can't think of his name because I can't say for sure WHO and it's driving me nuts. I'll come up with it later. And I like his suit. Hee.

Whoa, that's weird. Tell me when/if you remember.
